My Dream Job

Below are the job requirement for a Deep Technical Support Network Engineer. It's really fascinate me to learn all the skills and knowledge as shown below.

Job Requirements

From a technical perspective you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:


• Troubleshooting and resolving firewall, WAN, LAN, DNS, caching and network security issues
• Administering TCP/IP LAN’s (VLAN routing, VTP, Spanning Tree)
• Administering large-scale and complex WAN networks
• Troubleshooting skills in Cisco Routers and Cisco Pix
• Diagnosing network problems and maintaining network security
• To be successful in the role, you must have strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, networks – routers, L2 and L3 switches, gateways and networking servers. A familiarity with Cisco networking products is essential. Experience in HP ITO and HP Openview, HP Procurve switches and knowledge of encryption and Virtual Private Networks would be a distinct advantage.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Hold a degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or management information systems
• Possess a minimum of 3 years experience in IT operations
• Hold Cisco Certification to at least Network Associate (CCNA) level
• Have an excellent understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Infrastructure Libraries (ITIL) processes.

If you are not Cisco certified, but have the desired experience and technical skills your application will also be considered.

Fluency in English is essential, as is your willingness to work shift arrangements.
